Bad drummers!

no one can top (in lack of technique, i mean) the drummer from Operation Ivy, who's name i can't remember. i was really into Op. Ivy in 9th grade, a time at which i knew jack shit about drumming, and i was still able to identify him as a terrible drummer. no bass-pedal technique at all, ill-composed-and-executed fills, and use of tremendous speed and stamina in a vain attempt to cover it all up.
...of course, there were a lot of bad drummers in a lot of bad punk bands. perhaps we should rule them out.

Because I am right and you felt the need to confirm what I said. Being in the The Beatles does not automatically make Ringo SuperStar a good drummer. The guy sucks to hell and back.

Lars Metallica is a horrible, horrible drummer. Horrible. Even the best 'Tallica records are less than they could be because of Lars. Yuck.
The guy from Mogwai. Everything he plays can be found on Spiderland. Everything. Bleurgh.
Grant Hart on the last few Husker records. I love those records, but every single track has the same drum track. Maybe he was too smacked-out to remember that there are other rhythms? Yeesh.
The guy from BMV. Ne reason other than that I don't like his drumming.

phil rudd's drumming is pretty much perfect for AC/DC's music.
But Lars Urich totally sucks ass. I just noticed this last week, while bowling, as I haven't heard a song from Ride the Lightning for a number of years.

No, BMV: Beret Motivation Velvet. Amazing band. The best I ever heard.
