i don't mind brazil winning the world cup because they are great to watch.

(btw - tonight leeds striker rob hulse scored a great goal and assisted another putting us through to the play-off final. i think he should be in the england squad just for this. incredibly, the referee booked eight leeds players and sent off two. we can't work out what any of them did, so don't ask...)

you'll notice there is no beckham in the team i posted above.
i think a lot of our problems stem from the sway he holds in the dressing room. i think the england team is a 'dual management' (how topical!) between eriksson and beckham and it's cost us a few games. i'd still have him in the squad though under strict instructions not to talk.
