not crap...but i do make it a policy not to see them live more than once on a tour. their sets are always the same. that kinda blows.

So very, very, not crap.
Almost as not crap as AC/DC.

I sort of wish I could see in them what all of you who like them so much do. I listen to them and I don't think they're bad, and I've enjoyed things about their music, but overall, I find myself getting bored. It's been quite a while since I listened to them so maybe I need to give them another chance.
For the time being..... CRAP.

Hmm.
Well.....CRAP.
Even though, at my first hearing of one of their older tunes, I dug the whole jagged plomp-stomp of it...upon listening to other LPs, I had enough of it quickly.
Side note: This CRAP vote was directly related to walking into Herald Square in NYC and seeing Blonde Redhead on a giant GAP billboard.

They were way to hip for my blood. Too much working it. I'm not interested in working it. They are kind of catchy, but it's too rich and screechy. Very New York-important sounding.

I liked that middle record. The one where they were trying to be both Sonic Youth and Unwound.
