Yow, a very nice guy, throws a beer can into the crowd and cracks a young lady in the head.

Oh yeah, I was there for that. I was up in the very front and saw him open the can, take a swig and chuck it over his shoulder. My girlfriend at the time was working at a photo lab with the woman that got hit. Evidently it screwed up her jaw permanently. So, word gets round that I saw it and someone gave my phone number to a lawyer. I got hostile phone calls for months from the lawyers who were representing her.

I never gave my version of the events. I felt haphazardly lobbed projectiles were a forseeable risk at Liberty Lunch (RIP). Maybe that wasn't the right thing to do. I don't know.

tell me how the fuck an open beer tossed over a shoulder hitting you on the head would 'screw up your jaw permanently'?
Even if someone threw an open beer at your head full force from a few feet away it would not come anywhere near doing permanent damage.
It wouldn't even hurt that much, the beer is open and spraying out as it flies toward you slowing it down immensely. By the time the beer hit you it'd be probably 75% empty.
But anyway the dumb chick should have been paying attention to her surroundings, not doing her fucking make up or yapping on her cell phone or whatever the fuck she was doing.

Anybody with a stoic abusive stepdad should easily recognize this walk.

More of a "stalk", really. That's what I assumed they were doing. You can even hear an exchange of words between some people in the background.

That was a good beer bottle shot, though. You can't throw a beer bottle better than that guy did.

Having spent a month on the road with these guys, I can say pretty confidently that Dave, Duane and Mac had David's back. You can sort of see on Dave's face that he's about to get up in somebody's face if he can find out who did it.

Also, I'm positive that wasn't the first time David was knocked down. It was a fairly common occurance, and I doubt they thought it was terribly serious. I saw him get knocked unconscious at a show in Florida, and nobody was blase about it.
