Sure there'll be some 'sluts' who are such because of some desperately dark thing that happened in their past but the same could also be said of puritanical freakazoids.
I don't think it's something you should spend too much time worrying about.

Sluts have their uses. I have a few female friends that some people would define as sluts, i.e. very keen on sex and not too fussed if it's casual. But they don't just fuck any old guy, usually single friends.

Nice girls, good fun, no hassles the next day. What's not to like?

No, I do not think it is indecent at all. Everyone goes through the thought process. I thought about becoming a slut many years ago before I found my true calling of over eating and cheating myself of sleep. I could have been a great slut but you gotta go with what you are good at.

This is a really complicated topic for me, I've just tried to write a response about three times now, but it's so unfocused, I think I'll give up. Suffice it to say, people liking sex is not crap, though much of this is more complicated than just "liking" sex.
