My friend took this when on holiday in Asia for some reason when trying to get pills.

They ended up not being able to sleep for a couple of days and not being able to eat for a few.

Utter shite.

Does anyone here know what kind of physical harm ensues from meth? Does it hurt the heart like cocaine? WHY do each of their faces look so gaunt and shruken, is that meth or starvation? Curious...

i've done very little reading on the subject, so i can only guess, but --- in addition to the chemical effects --- it seems that being unable to sleep for days on end, on a regular basis, would severely accelerate the aging process.

the body needs sleep to restore itself. going without sleep, as well as not eating much, is hell on a person physically (not to mention mentally/psychologically). depression and stress can cause serious wear on a person's face over time, even if they are getting sleep. so imagine how shitty you'd feel fiending for shitty ass drugs and being up for days and days and days.

i believe in Hell. i believe Hell exists, not in the afterlife but as a mode of existence. and personally i have too much dignity to put myself through something like that. life is already unpleasant enough. i can't see why a person would do something like that, how they could rationalize the benefits. seriously, why not just put a gun to your temple and get it over with?

I had a great time when i snorted meth.

Sometime in the mid 90's.

Over at a buddies house on Christmas Eve. Two other dudes came over. One had just come back from California. He brought some meth. He busted it out and we snorted it. I was kind of bummed because i did not feel shit. I thought it would be like Blow with an immediate high. I asked for another line thinking I did not get enough. Dude says to wait awhile, if I snort more I will never fall asleep. So, we play cards, drink beer, chat, and listen to some depressing christmas blues records that i have brought along. Oh so slowly I feel it. And after a while, I seem to have complete clarity. Every thought in my head seems well formulated, every idea i had ever planned on seemed very possible. It was like positive Coke with no jones and bullshit. Great stuff. It was about 5 in the morning and time to go home. Usually I would take the "El" from his house in Evanston to Rogers Park. Well i was way to up for that. So, I walked in the below zero air home throught the snow. Walked along calvary cemetary and sheridan road. I felt awesome. Just the most beautifull walk with the sun comming up. When I got home. Still wide awake. Tried to lay down. Toss and turn. Toss and turn. Said fuck it. Got up. And

Cleaned the living shit out of my apartment. Scrubbed all the floors. Cleaned the bathroom untill it gleamed. Took everything out of the kitchen cabinets and scrubbed the insides of them. Took everything out of the fridge and cleaned the insides of that.

Went through all my drawers and boxes and orginized evry single thing. Threw away old paperwork and bills, balanced my checkbook paid my bills, etc.

Alphabetized my whole record collection down the exact sequence of release. At this time I was working at a used record store and had close to 3-4000 records at my home.

Still could not sleep. Tried whacking off. No post jizz slumber.

Not hungry at all, but i tried to eat. Eating while not hungry because of being high on coke or crank is a real drag. Food is lifeless and it seems iritating just to have to through the process of chewing.

Went to the liqour store and bought a 12 pack. By the time that was almost finished around 8 pm I think i finally fell asleep.


Those pictures of people on that site are probably meth smokers or shooters. It is supposed to be a totally different high. Much more crazy and intense. Never smoked it though. I have snorted and smoked coke and they are not the same animal, so i imagine meth is the same.

Rumour has it that it was invented by the Nazi's so the bomber pilots could fly long missions and not fall asleep or lose alertness.

I would do it again.
I think its fine if its recreational and not done very often, and if you ever have to stay up late to study or drive a long distance, she is your drug.

Took it once. Ingested a couple lines nasally. In about 45 seconds I went from being quite drunk to feeling totally clearheaded and energized -- odd experience, that transition -- and stayed that way for hours. I loved it. I feel very fortunate that it and I never crossed paths again.

(Also tried one time only: cocaine. Meh. I liked the crystal meth way better.)
