I would have liked to see The Adicts and the attendance will take a hit without The Misfits (the kids love them, Danzig or no Danzig) but nothing can stop the momentum of Raygun playing...
I doubt that. I mean who gives a shit about Jerry Only? I know Marky Ramone probably needs toupe' money, but they'll have to get it elsewhere. The Adicts woulda been nice tho. UK Subs are cool too.

Last year's Riot Fest was FILLED with teenagers in Misfits shirts, they were literally everywhere. We may not give a shit about the current state of the Misfits, but they are still quite popular with the kids...
How many people can the Congress Theater hold?

I don't know how many people the Congress accommodate, but it's not super huge. Big enough.

The capacity is around 3,500. Naked Raygun sold out two nights at the Metro (just over 1,000 capacity) last time they did a reunion in Chicago, which leaves room for about 1,500 teenagers in Misfits shirts. Oh, wait, they cancelled? Then make that room for 1,500 Blue Meanies fans.

New bands announced to the original lineup - The Effigies, 7 Seconds, Youth Brigade, Flatfoot 56 & I Attack. Very nice job by the Riot Fest folks on such short notice after "The Misifits" and crew dropped out. Couldn't be more excited...
Naked Raygun & The Effigies - I think it's only fair that Strike Under play as well, they can recreate the 1980 New Years Eve show at Oz. Of course you'd need The Wayouts as well, but Billy Meehan is still playing, might be able to happen...

it looks like if you are not of the 150 people that the band put on a list, you probably are not getting into this show. The place supposedly holds 250.
