ryan is correct, the bus would be the best option. it's a bit too far to walk. go to
http://www.yourcta.com and type out the address of your starting and ending points and it will give you the bus times and route number to take. it's like mapquest for the cta. the bus won't take very long at all, you could catch all of the bands at T&G and still make it to the party on time.

Q: There was talk of BBQ's during this weekend as well...........is anyone still planning anything else? I'm trying to decide if I need to find a place to stay at any point, so maybe we should compile a list of extra-curricular activities in this thread.

Johnny 13 and I were planning something Friday, but since this show is going on, no BBQ.
