I'd like to second that. The girly fashion stylings of the indie rocker boys is particularly troubling. Last thing I need is a guy who spends more time on his "look" than I do. I fear men are going all A-sexual these days....Like there's some new "I'm so comfortable with my manhood that I can be kinda girly" thing going on. It's weirding me out.

When Killdozer started playing "King of Sex", a large inflatable dong was bounced around the crowd like a beachball.

I can only speak for Saturday, but it was fucking brilliant. Every one of the reconstituted bands was better than I expected, and in the case of Killdozer and especially Scratch Acid, I expected a lot.
For Killdozer, Scratch Acid and the Didjits, It was as though they stopped the clock back when they were in peak form, and then started it again for the festival. It was incredible.
The still-active bands were also in great shape, Larry Damore was in full effect, and this was my first chance to see the Ex as a four-piece.
I was moved either to tears or just shy of them several times Saturday, and also I laughed and pointed more than I have in years. Everyone was in a near-constant state of jubilant camraderie. The gig of the century-to-date, easily.
Touch and Go: Home to about a hundred of the best bands ever. And !!!.

Well, it sounds like the festival is as great as everybody expected.
Didn't Big Black play Il Duce eventually?

No. They played
Cables
Dead Billy
Pigeon Kill
Racer X
I interviewed Santiago Durango a few weeks ago and he told me he didn't really have callouses anymore but that it was ok because "I can still play really fucking loud."
Salut the Biggest Blackest! I have waited 19 years to see you perform live. I mean it, thanks so much for doing it, it was a treat.

Too bad Santiago didn't realize his guitar was thrown out of tune until the third song. But that's just punk rock for ya.

Here's a few more, sorry the quality isn't great, but I wanted to watch more than take pictures so I didn't always pay attention to the camera, just snapped shots.

He broke a string during the first or second song.
