All you guys who are complaining about communication are going to engage in it ten thousand times today. Reading, writing, typing, speaking, listening, making body language, interpreting body language - even communication through unmoving silence sometimes. And of all of those ten thousand acts of communication, in ninety-nine hundred of them, the communicatee will know just about exactly what the communicator is trying to say. But you won't notice - you won't walk away saying, "Another successful act of communication!" But the remaining one percent, there will be a misunderstanding or a garbling, probably slight, occasionally significant. And from those incidents, you'll walk away saying, "Boy, communication is so unreliable! Is communication even possible?!"

Is communication possible? Yes, communication is possible. Come on.

What's cool about speaking French (or whatever Latin language) is that I can read Spanish easily without speaking it.
