I really don't think anyone could make the claim that French literature could compare with English literature. Too many great English writers.

That would depend on what you're saying, or the (English) accent you're saying it in. Wrong words/wrong accent, even wrong fashion semiotics, and all expectory bets are off.

france.

i love england in my own way but france has that language and those places and those women. ahhh. i will retire there, you can be sure of that.

Personal experience, mate. The British girls are just, on the whole, not too attractive. There are always exceptions, of course.

the british are the ugliest race in the world.

no doubt the french have some equally horrid citizens but this is easily excusable in the face of so many glorious highs.
