My sense of climate has been somewhat skewed, living in the Chicago area for 35 years. My wife (who grew up in Kansas City) thinks it's funny because I actually become mildly anxious when it is hot and sunny for too long. I'm moving to Louisville next spring -- it'll be an adjustment. For now, I am going to savor the beginning of my last Chicago winter.
Once February comes around, I'm pretty much ready for winter to end... except I'll enjoy a few glorious, snow-filled days here and there.

The only thing I hate about winter is shoveling snow/ digging my car out. Everything else is a dream.

This is nowhere near as cool as you'd think it would be.
Jack Rose is the only thing there that I ever enjoyed.

Winter in Atlanta is easy doings. Just keep a scarf and a warm jacket around, maybe a skull cap, and you're all set.
Fall...man it's beautiful.

In the South, our summer ends in November, we get a flashback in early January, maybe a blizzard in March, no spring, and summer from April to November again, with a little 2-day breezy 65 degree hint of fall around mid September.
There's a saying in Atlanta: "If you don't like the weather, wait half an hour."
It's true.
I want to move to the cold. Not Boston cold, but - you know. Normal October cold.

That was the saying in Baltimore.
I've also heard that here in Chicago.
God bless you, global warming.
