There's also the interview with Joey Lawrence which ends with Jay Leno shooting himself in the mouth with an Uzi. Funny stuff! Diet Coke!

In Leno's defense, well...yeah, Leno himself is very unfunny. But even though anyone with 2 eyes and literacy could do his "Headlines" skit, he does it, and they are usually pretty goddamn hilarious.

Letterman sucks in every way. His jokes suck, his top 10 is awful, his interviews are boring and out of his control... but Norm McDonald did a killer impression of him, and summed him up pretty well.

I get a good chuckle out of a good Paul Schaffer impression, though.

My opinion: Letterman and Leno are both equally crappy.


Sidenote: Has anyone seen the movie that Leno co-stars with Pat Morita?
I think that its called "Collision Course" and it is fucking golden!

I remember this one episode where this long-hair biker gang guy dies and goes to hell. They show this montage of all these old paintings of hell, etc. The guy gets there and there are these nice, boring, square people there.
He asks them "I thought I was going to hell! Where are the dogs? Where are the chains, man?" and they tell him "Oh, there's nothing like that here, but you're in the right place." or something like that. And the skit ends with these square people closing in on him and talking to him and he's freaking out and screaming "No! " because his hell is full of squares. I saw that when I was a little kid and remember thinking it was pretty funny. I wonder if he wrote that?

Leno isn't very funny to me. Letterman I used to find funny but I don't watch his show now. Better than Leno, though. Conan is funniest of the late night TV hosts.
