The entire nation goes whaling?

Let's start a list of nations that we should "fuck" base upon what the government okays, endorses or does.

1. Fuck the USA, they started a shitty war.
2. Fuck the UK, they went along with it.

Keep 'em coming.

Icelandair offers (or at least they used to) a program called "take a break in iceland" where you could stop over in Reykjavic for two or three nights on your way to another euro city that they fly to at no extra charge. If Reykjavic is your main destination then just think of it as adding London, or Paris or Amsterdam at not extra airfare charge.

The Blue Lagoon is great.

no, i just find it upsetting. but then, their citizens haven't opposed it strongly in their hundred of thousands have they, only to be ignored by the government they voted in?

yeah...

ANYWAY. if i was really rich? i'd check out the geysers and the whales and the language and the rock formations. we have bars in the UK. and rock formations come to think of it.

the blue lagoon IS great.

just don't tell the locals that you've gone there, or they'll tell you all sorts of stories which will make you have second thoughts.

odd advice for march or february in iceland: bring your own swim suit.

the hotel above the icelandic phallological museum is nice.

The Blue Lagoon is an experience. I think it's been refurbished since I was there. Then it was quite literally like swimming in a pool beside a power station. No frills.

If you're going to boycott every country that's perptrated some sort of social transgression, you're not going to see much outside of Brum.

wow! i love the way you've decided that i am doing anything based on a sentence that doesn't say that!

and double wow! yeah, i'm not going to see much outside of brum. i wish one day i could. i obviously subliminally said that i had never been anywhere too!

in case the jeremy or his wife found it interesting and in response to the sentence he wrote "any info would be great", i thought i'd mention the whalng news.

some people might be put off visiting a country because of it. i didn't say i was put off by it, more likely the exhorbitant cost of living but, i digress.

it was a link to a news article. if you don't choose to read the story and you decided to 'put two and two together' and tell me what i 'really meant to say' and get it totally wrong then... well, i would finish that but i'm pretty sure you can guess what i was going to say.
