I think that Wilco Movie is a good time...

And there is a certain charm to that Flaming Lips Fearless freaks, but like their last few records, it can't help but disappoint... but it is fairly touching.

As lame as it sounds, I always enjoyed the "Yesyears" video. So in depth, and was really the only music video that I ever bought that actually seemed to be beyond my expectations. It just goes on and on for hours, exhaustively covering so much crap. But I guess that's what I'm looking for.

I am a sucker for any sort of in-studio type of vid too. I remember watching that a year in the life of Metallica" or what ever it was called when they were making the black album, even though I pretty much could give a shit about them or that record. I guess I just like watching the creative process.

That new Jeff Tweedy dvd is pretty good too.

Jandek's Glasgow Sunday, which was a gift from my darkroom staff. They did not know I was a fan, but rather went into Kim's and asked for recommendations for me.

I don't know what they said to the counter guy, but I can kinda guess.

the tom petty dvd that just came out is really good. it's long, like 136 min for the frist disc and almost 120 for the second. and that's just the documentary part! then there's a full concert dvd and an extra cd with rare stuff on it. plenty of vintage stuff on there, with lots of footage of his early band before they even had a record deal. i am quite enjoying it.
