Couldn't both of these things be right? In my sadly limited experience they are. And that's why they can be both C and NC. Two people for whatever reasons need each other but can't really do much but for themselves. If it's fair, and they can scratch each others' itch, then it can be great. [Certainly not fulfilling of soul, but in the crudest meanings, great.]

But those circumstances don't last because people are never quite at the same place and/or pace as others--e.g., getting over a break up, being ambi about the partner. Even worse people are self-interested and acquisitive, and someone is eventually going to either get jealous or ask themself whether their needs are being met/whether they are worth more than just their reciprocal sexual parts, and then it turns to Itchy's Crap.

I didn't know who it was from, but I was kind of hungry so I texted back with "What kind?"
The reply was her address and after MapQuesting it, I figured out who it was.
I went to bed hungry that night.

What's it called when you're out with a couple of friends and one of these friends' girlfriend keeps calling and he doesn't answer, then she shows up to the bar sans underwear and bearing some cleavage and he becomes puddy and goes home with her and you sleep on his futon?

Whenever I have gotten these booty calls (a long time ago indeed), I would invite my victim over and try to engage her in a good game of Whist.

It never worked. Always ended with me trying to "catch up" in the drunken sweepstakes, and some very sloppy, drunken squelching.

This is about as close as most straight men get to realizing the simple, effortless, and immediate, sexual gratification constantly sought by their loins and hind brains. A phone voice is suggesting Pizza and minutes later you are eating it. Now you are back home, full and content. For that period of time, the world made perfect sense.

You make it seem like it's my fault that I know girls who get horny when they're wasted.

i usually do my best not to put myself in the sort of situations in which i'd enjoy fuckign someone but couldn't care less about anythign much beyond her anatomy. but i'd be lying if i said i've never been there before.

earlier this year, that's pretty much all i was doing for a while. most women can't satisfy me. i haven't met my match. until i do, i see no reason why i should feel bad about makign a booty call, engaging in this sort of non-committal behavior.

Sex without commitment doesn't preclude affection or respect.
