the EHX 16 Second does have some cool features that no other looping pedals have.
For instance, you can control levels such as your dry (i.e guitar) and wet (what you've looped) signal independantly and more importantly, it has a Feedback control which allows you to fade out previously recorded layers when you overdub on the loop - very important if you want to layer up your sounds without it turning to white noise/mush.
You can also reverse your loops (some loopers can also do this mind) and add modulation to them.
When i play live, i use two EHX loopers and they're pretty damn versatile if you're into the whole guitar looping thing...
delay pedal? eh or akai?
12dxf 94 by dod is pretty cool too, irreplaceable in my book, but if anyone knows of a better one in terms of loop length etc let me know!
Some witty and esoteric latin quote like everyone else has.

13I've been playing around with the first headrush and when I go to ROCK VOLUME, on my JMP the hum is so loud! I have been using the low sensitivity and a distortion pedal but the tone sucks by comparison. Is this common or is this specific pedal a noisy one?

I used to have one of these and I couldn't get into it, but then I was a horrible guitar player at the time... maybe I should try to pick up a new one...

I've never encountered that, but then I have the E2. Sounds like it could be a grounding issue.

17I have had the line6 DL4, the Headrush, DD20, Eh 16 second delay and the EHX 2880.
I depend on the headrush constantly and would never be without it on my board. wonderful delays and a kick ass simple looper. I also use the EHX 2880 with the footswitch all the time as well. It has a wonderful feature set and it has been super reliable. I love the mixer function and tweaking the volume of the loops on the fly.
The DL4 is utter garbage. They will break. Guarenteed. The only plus i can ssee to owning this pedal is it is easily replaceable when it breaks on tour. And it will break. Everyone sells this green turd, unlike say a headrush or 2880.
The dd20 didnt do it for me regarding delay tones and loop functions. Too cold.
The Ehx 16 sec delay is wonderful I just like the more evolved feature set of the 2880. I miss the georgeous modulated delays of this pedal however.
