often twice a day. its not so much about hygiene...i just feel great after a nice 15 minute shower. and i also worked third shift for a long time and i kind of programmed myself so that i could always function at work regardless of how little sleep i got as long as i took a shower right before heading off to work.

i just want to state for the record that taking baths is gross.

Being a lazy bum, I usually wait several hours before I shower if I don't have to be anywhere. But I am a clean bum, and there comes a point when a shower is necessary to properly get on with my day. Otherwise I just can't think straight.

I live in Texas, it gets hot. If I don't shower everyday, people will be able to tell. Its a little easier for people in milder climates to go without

I try to shower everyday, but I sometimes miss a day or 3 in a row because trying to wake up in time to get to work at 8am is not that easy for me.

I cannot function without a shower. It is completely psychological.

The shower head in my bathroom broke a couple of years ago, and it's one of the best things that ever happened to me. The hot bath I take before bed every night is something I look forward to all day long. I'm not that into kneeling on the floor to wash my hair under the tub spigot in the morning, but such are the vagaries of country living.

Every single day. It takes only a day for me to feel yucky, plus a hot shower is my coffee--I simply cannot function until I've had one.
