I have a couple of these and have found them to be quite useful for things like distorted guitars (someone here likes them on clean guitars, but not me, generally). I agree with the person who likes them on hi-hat - one of my favorites for that and I have been using them as drum overheads a bit lately, too. I haven't tried them on vocals, but there's some cool Stevie Wonder footage from an old SNL where they're on every vocalist. Sometimes they've been my choice on brass instruments and even struck metal stuff, like glockenspiel, for example.

In short, I really like them and they're well worth the money. Still, I like the m160 better for most things...
