There was a guy running one out of an apartment in Winnepeg a few years ago, and I ate his food and it was good.

I think there's something to be said for an informal restaurant, and unfortunately that's impossible in a regulated market. So I'm reservedly in favor of underground restaurants.

Knowing how filthy and questionable actual, real, licensed and inspected restaurants can be, I'll avoid paying some ersatz chef money in exchange for their mysterious comestibles.

It's a stupid, trendy and ridiculous idea. Cook your own food.

I know of a sheep farm that's only 60 miles from here, if anyone wants to make their own haggis. I'll show you where, but you'll have to do the rest.
