I use this lovely Gibson Super Goldtone. It has been my main amp for quite a while now. I never see anyone else with one and its a shame / blessing cause they they sound unbelievably good.

I also just got this Vox AC30cc2 and so far i'm loving it as well. It works great in a stereo set up.

My main head is a Trace Elliot V8 which has a whopping 400 watts of all tube power and sounds nothing like the solid state amps of theirs. I really adore the overdrive channel on it. Backup(which is currently in use on account of the TE needing a new tube) is a Peavey Megabass. I use an Avatar 2x10 with both.

I play through a homemade amp that some guy doing a phd in cybernetics at my uni built a few years ago, he decided it was too big and offered it to me, so I snapped it up. It was built into the chasis of an old Sound City 120 mark 4, using the partridge transformer from that amp...that's just about all I know about it, apart from it's way heavy, and sounds pretty cool...the schematic can be found here if anyone wants to have a look and tell me what I've got...

I will eventually play it through the 2x12 cabinet that I'm building very slowly (I need my Dad's help because I know exactly nothing about woodwork, and because I'm at uni, I don;t spend much time wit my Dad...)...that will be loaded with two Celestion G12T-75s that I got for £20 each on eBay...

Right now I play it through a shitty 1x10 PA cab I found in a skip...

My No. 1 amp is a late '70s/early '80s (hard to date this one) Park Lead combo, 50 watt, 1x12 Mackenzie speaker, reverb.

I've never seen another one like it, got it from "amps 'n bits" in the UK. It just kills.

Secondary amps are a 1970 Carlsbro TC40 with two pre-Rola Celestion greenbacks, a 1985 Hiwatt 1x12 combo, a 1980 Fender 75 combo, 1986 Marshall JCM800 1x12 combo, early '60s Ampeg Reverberocket 2.

If I need more I have a 1972 Super Lead MKII head, a Sound City SMF head, and the excellent SMF cabinet loaded with Celestion greenbacks. I also have a really great late 1950s Bogen PA amp, that uses 2 6L6s and weird 6FS7 metal preamp tubes. It sounds incredible and looks real cool.
