I kinda likes this band.

How is it that both FOTL and SAUM have killer bass sounds? Anyone?

The drummer has gotten really good.


I don't want to get into the pro-tools debate, but Mclusky were one of those bands that really shined when recorded by Steve. It is a shame that Curses was not. Especially those drums.

there are a couple songs i really like on this, a couple i'm not sure about yet. i'm not really digging the keyboards but i do like the guitar sounds. so much of it has to do with the recording. i actually liked some of the crusty demo versions of these songs better. but it's definitely worth whatever pittance they're asking for it and i'll certainly pick it up and go see them when they get back to NY.

Lord Hates a Coward is fucking awesome.

i give Curses a NC with some minor waffles because it's a little more upright than what i was expecting.
