I hear it's going to be electroclash, with a few 'mash-up' jams thrown in for good measure. This is the sound of NOW, so I'm told.
I am very excited.

I'd like to announce I am also thinking about recording a new Slint album
We'll see who finishes first.

13A little birdy told me once that Britt Walford was responsible for writing a vast amount of Slint's music. Anyone else ever hear this? I know he surprised a few people by playing guitar and 'singing' "Don, Aman" live.
they said our youth was dead...how could they know?

14He wrote and played all of 'Spiderland' and then hired some shitty punk band called Squirrel Bait to be his Milli Vanilli.

15Eh, the little birdy was Todd Cook.
Of course, I'm not saying McMahan and Pajo had negligible input, but it might explain why neither of them have ever really hit the same heights since. Their "The For Carnation" and "Live from a Shark Cage" albums are beautiful but lack the power of Spiderland.
Just wondering if anyone else has any Walford info/stories? He's an interesting character. I for one hope Slint record something new. Playing live killed the myth/aura so they might as well get creative again

Corey Rusk already asked me to supervise the artwork.
Too literal?
Constantly associating them with "post-rock" is perpetuating a negative stereotype...
