"Holidays in Hell" is an interesting read. I loved his National Lampoon stuff and most of his books are at least readable and yuk-worthy. It's about the only non-inadvertantly funny pundit from the right I can occasionally agree with. His aging frat-boy stance however is nearly intolerable.
Not Crap with a high waffle factor.

This is the only realm in which I paid any attention to this guy, and that was a long time ago. He did write some disgustingly funny stuff.

I still have a stack of them somewhere, circa 1977-78. My brother even got me a subscription for Christmas one year. My parents either never bothered to look at them, or they were even more permissive than I thought. Probably the former. I think they figured it was like Mad.

Was looking this guy's work up recently in light of the way the Republican's are locally going crazy about Al Franken's "pornographic" writing for Playboy.
I remember this article, this is one section. Apparently it's no longer available on Nat'l Lampoons online archives...

I believe his preferred term is 'chinamen'.

You still can. Just right-click to get the image URL, and then change the page number to see the other pages.
An Anecdote Illustrating Something of the Chinese Character: Nine hundred million Chinese walk into a bar. They order a beer, pay up, and then just sit there, sipping their drinks, not saying a word. Finally, the bartender can't stand it anymore. "We don't see many Chinese in here," he says.
"And with this atmosphere of hedonistic individualism capitalistically exploiting the labor of the masses and wasting the people's agricultural resources," say the Chinese, "you won't see many more."

If you're specifically referring to Chinee. But Orientals can be Chinese
or Japanese!

I'm shocked that such a progressive forum would refer to celestials in such a derogatory manner.
