i have a bajilliion of these comps, and you absolutely can't go wrong with these three.

I want to rip you here but I won't since I bought my first Iron Maiden album because the cover artwork was cool. But your reasons for not giving nuggets a shot are kind of petty, and you'll almost definitely find something you like on it.

was the Monks' "I Hate You" on one of these? I can't think of anywhere else I would have found out about them.

You should reconsider this , John. There's a lot of good songs on the 1st set, especially.

You probably have heard a lot of the songs on here elsewhere, though.

Plus many more great songs. I am specifically talking about the original release. I haven't picked the re-release with all the extra tracks.

I haven't heard the later Nuggets releases. Are they worth checking out?

"I Hate You" wasn't, but "Complication" was.

Maybe I have heard some of these disks. I specifically remember hearing the 13th Floor Elevators for the first time when Mark played them at Dreamerz. And I do recall seeing those record covers on display in the DJ booth a lot.

I will never change my mind on the Concert for Bangladesh box set. I made my old roommate get that thing out of the house cause it was such a malevolent object.
