There's a Melody Maker for $450 in the guitar shop where I bought my Tele. It is the exact same as a Les Paul Junior, it is beige/yellow, it looks exactly like D. Boon's Les Paul Junior/Melody Maker, and it plays beautifully. I want it and hope I am lucky enough to get it.
