A Welsh power trio named for a parakeet? Of course I want to like them, but the one record I've heard (self-titled debut) just wasn't very good.

I'll give it a try. I've considered selling it more than once, but I keep on keeping it around even though I've been mildly disappointed whenever I return to it.

Bizarrely, the first "proper" band I ever saw, supporting Gillan at the Southampton Gaumont, when I was 13. I almost puked, the opening salvo of bass felt that loud. It was probably pretty quiet, in relative terms, but I suppose I only had fireworks and the occasional airshow to compare it to, so...

our covers band plays "breadfan" along side loads of obvious rock classics. the people of peterborough seem to love it. i don't know if that last statement renders them crap or not crap.
