Once a month or so, except my Ibanez which takes 15 years to re-string so I do it absolutely as little as possible, and my tele which has flat wounds which seem to last much longer.

i've been lazy recently so i just keep boiling them.

Once every few weeks, or if they break sooner than that.

Everytime I put on new strings, seems like my guitars come alive again.

Basically when they break or stop tuning properly.

I always feel really happy when I do, though.

I'll change them if they break. Usually I'll have a bunch of misc. strings all over the place so I'll install a string that doesn't really correlate with the thickness of the others. Always sounds fine to me though.

Haven't done it in two years. I play every day, at least for 15 min or so.

No breaks, guitar sounds more or less ok. Treble strings are kind of black now.

Can't wait for one to break so I can feel justified in changing them, though.

So instead of the 5-10 minutes it would take you to change your strings you spend 30-45 minutes taking them off, boiling them, and putting them back on? You're not lazy...you're CRAZY.

I break strings like a motherfucker...so I'm forced to replace them on a regular basis.

my hands sweat horribly, so after less than one month, the strings are unusable. when unusable, i mean "the first three strings are so corroded that they can cut your fingers like a knife". so, every month i need to change them, which sucks.

Rarely. I'm lazy.
