Cricket is a game which (much like botulism and the common cold) is a legacy of English colonialism. It sounds like Australia has a counterpart to Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs baseball team. Wrigley Field's sole attraction, as far as I can gather, is to provide a forum for white twentysomething "consultants" (from the suburbs or North Side) to sit in the sun, drink beer and ultimately fail to get in one another's pants. -- all while speaking on cellular telephones.
