I sold my 1963 Sunburst Jag last year for just under £1500. I don't really miss it at all. Someone on this board once described the sustain on the Jaguar and Mustang as akin to an amplified banjo and (in my experience anyway of owning 2 separate Jags) that's not as much of an exaggeration as you might think.

So, I wouldn't feel too bad about it owen.

I like mine but I would *never* have it as my main guitar.
Hard to believe it and the Jazzmaster were designed to replace the Strat, right?

Ah, sustain is overrated anyway. Who needs it?
