I'm not sure if this is right or not, but I think I read somewhere that they influenced The Ramones.

Well, maybe sorta. I think it might be more that they share common influences. I think the Dictators pre-date the Ramones by just a little bit. I may need to pull out my copy of "Please Kill Me" and re-read a bit of it.
