14Espai Sucre ("Sugar Space") ... a cool restaurant with a dessert theme. Sounds odd, but they execute it well.
Gaig is another terrific, somewhat expensive restaurant, but worth it for the Catalan cuisine.
The History of the City Museum in the Gothic Quarter is very cool. You can tour the underground remains of Roman Barcelona.
And if you have time, the Picasso Museum is worth a look.

Wow!!I didn't realize before clicking on the link that I went there too.

gjhardwick, I advise you to go early, even before the restaurant opens. I got there 15 minutes earlier and there were already 10-15 people waiting and it's a pretty small place inside.
