of course. but i would think you'd pursue everything you can (on your route) and make decisions later, not just avoid whole cities or states on principle.

Would you honestly go out of your way to play to a bunch of cockbags just to make more money?

Dude, the shows we've played in Brooklyn have paid dick.

Same with the shows in LA, but strangely enough, the crowds in LA were about 100X friendlier than the ones in any part of NYC. That was really confusing.

you're missing my point. which is i prefer to play parties, apartments, houses, lofts or whatever vs. a venue. and there is more of that in brooklyn than manhattan.

I cannot think of four places I would never want to set foot in.*

NYC was decent, Manhattan was a wash, but we had fun, Brooklyn was a better show, also had a good deal of fun that day.

Texas was generally good, the shows were solid, we ate like kings for the most part, saw some good stuff.

I suppose you play these places, and any other place, becuz you think what yr doing is good and want to take it to as many people and places as possible.

It's funny, people complain if you don't tour, people complain if you tour, people complain if you play one place and not the other, people complain about how much the cover is, people complain about how long you play, people complain about how short you play, people complain about the other bands on the bill, people complain about how much the beer costs, people complain that you don't have any merch, people complain that yr merch is too expensive, people complain about what songs you play, people complain that you come to their town too often, people complain that you don't come to their town enough and people complain where you go play shows.

I wonder why bands bother wasting their time and talent playing shows at all?

If you've been playing in bands and gigging and touring for a long time, sometimes you can smell a pigfuck a mile away and should be avoided at all costs.

WORD.

Yale, the clubs in NYC have never been as nice to us as Mr. T's Bowl was. Fact. But yeah, Mojo rules and the few people that actually showed up were cool.
