Fair enough Vaka. But unless you own the studio I think you should face away from the console next time. It's got to be expensive and time consuming to clean that muck up from the board.

That is a mighty good suggestion indeed. Studio head honcho Ian (english bloke - great guy) will most likely proceed to place my head on a stick if I muck up his beloved Neve.
I must say that the EQ on that console is oh so sweet. First time I've actually jizzed a bit when fiddling with an EQ (well, not really but I wanted dramatic effect).

I've only recorded in 3, does my opinion still count?
Ultrasuede was really great to work in from a nostalgic perspective...
But
Candyland has worked out the best for us.

Air Studios - studio 1:

Amazing acoustics. Amazing custom Neve desk (1 of 3 built). Tea boys. George Martin.
Met Annie Lennox, George Martin and Liz Hurley. Watched a big orchestra get recorded for a movie soundtrack in Lyndhurst Hall.
They let me keep 2 tea mugs.
Great logo.

God you suck. I would part with both my little toes to record at Air.
On a serious note - great new record, it gets several spins a day.
