Yea, fuck anyone with under 500 posts. Uh, (head scratch) I mean fuck anyone with under 400 posts. Yea, fuck them!

Ok, here's the thing that's really been bugging me lately, and definitely caused me to post a lot less. There are some new people who have this really bad habit of posting the exact same thing someone else posted just a few posts earlier in the thread. This to me says they are not bothering to read the thread, in order to make sure what they post is even a contribution rather than, well, as annoying as spam. READ PEOPLE.

And it gets exponentially more annoying when that "exact same thing" was fucking stupid in the first place.

i almost did this in the sonic youth thread, there's a temptation and a knee jerk reaction to just want to chime in and offer your 2 cents, especially when the thread is several pages long, but yeah, it sucks and I try my best not to do it.

Good point though.

My problem is that a few people are just dicks. I'm all for a little controversey, but cockbaggedness seems to be on the rise.

I had no idea when I did it. My bar went empty and I was labeled as tmidgett and spammer. I was scared.

My feeling is that if you've racked up a couple thousands posts in a month or two, then perhaps you're just blabbering.

I liked the new folks' older stuff better.

there's a lot of old farts here who make the same mistake.

also, i'd like to add that there are a lot of gasbags here and reading through bullshit can be excruciating. (i'm not excluding myself in this.)
