Chicago tap water is actually quite good! I love it in fact.
The only bottled water I will drink si FIJI as it tastes similar to CHicago tap. The only reason I drink it is because the building I work in has old pipes that make the water taste like ass.
As for vitamin water, I was hooked for a while, but with all the sugar in it, I swear I lost ten pounds after I stopped drinking it! If you're going to try and stop the hangover, Revive will help if had before bad. Evil bourbon.....

12I love how on this forum, any mention of sweet food products gets comments on how sugar and corn syrup are bad for you. Are we rockers, or mothers?

14Hey! I just don't like sweet things. I prefer sour over sweet if you must know.
I do excersize though and the extra sugar won't help

15I think it's funny how 50 Cent owns Vitamin Water now, and he's on the Grape flavor bottle. Anyone see the Chappelle stand-up about how black people don't drink juice? "What the fuck is 'juice'? Grape drink, nigga!"

16I think Vitamin Water gives me the trots.
3 Saturdays in a row I went to the gym and grabbed a Vitamin Water afterward at this coffee shop by the gym.
All 3 times I barely made it home and was on the hoop for like a half hour.

17I wonder if Vitamin Water is beneficial or detrimental to your health (or a wash). The first two ingredients after water are two different forms of sugar. I'm pretty sure sugary drinks are generally not too healthy. I don't know if there's evidence that the added vitamins will truly be beneficial.
I think people should drink whatever they want to drink, but I'm concerned about consumers buying Vitamin Water thinking they're making a healthy choice, when in fact they might not be doing any better healthwise than if they chose Coke or other sugary drinks.
eta: I'm guessing that it's much cheaper to take a multivitamin and then buy a soda or juice or draw a glass of tap water.

The Bottom Line
A standard multivitamin supplement doesn't come close to making up for an unhealthy diet. It provides a dozen or so of the vitamins known to maintain health, a mere shadow of what's available from eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Instead, a daily multivitamin provides a sort of nutritional safety net.
While most people get enough vitamins to avoid the classic deficiency diseases, relatively few get enough of five key vitamins that may be important in preventing several chronic diseases. These include:
* Folic acid
* Vitamin B6
* Vitamin B12
* Vitamin D
* Vitamin E
A standard, store-brand, RDA-level multivitamin can supply you with enough of these vitamins for under $40 a year. It's about the least expensive insurance you can buy.

18vitamin water has about 1/2 the sugar of soda/gatoraide.
I like the pom and dragonfruit flavors, its the only drink I will buy here at work.
Of course regular water is better for you, but if you are going to drink something w/ calories in it, VW is tough to beat.

Tough to beat tastewise?

Four drinks that absolutely slay vitamin water, and are "better" for you:
100% fruit juice. Any kind, even OJ.
Iced Green Tea with honey.
Iced Black Tea with a dash of simple syrup and lemon wedge.
Iced Coffee with shot of espresso, dash of milk and 1 packet of dissolved raw sugar.
