They're still collecting people, Alex. Six confirmed now, but there are probably more people in the water, and there may have been people under the bridge on land.

Not to be crass, but apparently it will take two years to replace this. It's one if not the major route through Minneapolis. Traffic has been really bad even with the bridge in place.
Weird seeing Minneapolis on BBC news.

That's not crass at all. I-40 was closed for months due to a rock slide and it was a mess.
People need to start thinking of things like this as soon as possible. You can mourn the dead at the same time you realize that life has to go on.

Sorry but the dark humor has set in as a defense mechanism after wringing my hands for four hours after finding out a friend from work went down with the span (he's okay).
