i've seen shellac several times and will say this...

if you like shellac songs, you're in luck, because they will play them.

they will play them well.

they will play several of them.

it's been awhile since i've seen them, but the last few times they played new songs.

they probably still do the Q&A thing...

i remember seeing them in england, and believe steve introduced a newer song by saying "this song's about english cuisine, it's called DISGRACE"

I saw them in Charlotte a couple of years ago and I could swear that in "Prayer To God" Steve sang "where her gazongas come together," but I probably didn't hear him correctly. I thought it was funny anyway.

The show was excellent, by the way. Todd was injured and still played great.

"Go! NOW! Go NOW! NOW!!"

and

"Is this thing on...?"

may be highlights...

I just saw them recently in Fuengirola in the south of Spain. I was blown away. My neck hurt for a week from some pretty freakish headbanging. Wow. Yeah, they really are as good as you've heard. Enjoy yourself.

Shellac live is a fun time (they always have the best tie-dye shirts and feather roach clips for sale), but when the band begins to take volunteers for the on-stage Drum Circle, a hasty exit is recommended.
