I believe the technical term for an amp that doesn't even have one gain stage is "a wire".
all amps have at least one gain stage. that's kinda the definition of an amplifier.
by "gain" you probably mean "distortion"?

Despite the love for the 15" versions, I dont know if 12" Thiele cabs interest anyone here, but
here's one for sale in Chicago for rather cheep.

david sims used to use an 18" with tjl. i think that's the same model.
