Henry's Cellar Bar?
The very fucking same. Do you have the story on the t-shirt?

No, sadly not. However, I thought I'd take a guess at where you played for some unknown reason. It's a slightly strange place.

There is something about venues attached to Chinese restaurants. There's a place in York called The Willow, which is a full on Chinese restaurant until 11pm, after which it turns into a disco...and a restaurant. Having a proper Chinese meal at 1am with 'Don't Stop Til You Get Enough' blasting into your head while waiters negotiate paths through drunken, snogging dancers right next to your table is weird as fuck.

Well, I returned to that venue in Edinburgh the morning after a gig there to pick up my camera, only to find the whole room covered in Chinese meals that had been prepared by the chef. What looked mainly like salads. That place got busted badly a while back for hygeine reasons. I think rats may have been involved (maybe in the food!)
Sorry to go off topic. In response to those looking for said MX-80 Sound t-shirt, I'd maybe find another t-shirt you like.

I walk past that place frequently! I've never been in, it always seemed a bit of a strange idea... apparently they do all you can eat on a certain night...
