I'm erasing this post. It's too embarrassing.

That's true. My music also doesn't warrant any discussion. I do hate that recording now too, so whatever. Oh well, I thought I created one song you liked a lot. In all honesty on Chicago XX you created 5 or 6 I enjoyed quit a bit (I even included "Lorp" on a mixtape I made for a friend trying to get him into underground music) Anyways, no hard feelings or nuttin. I certainly feel you're worthy of a lot more respect than I am.

Will,

I regret posting that nasty comment. I was just surprised to see you make such venomous comments about my music in a public forum, since you had never expressed any such disdain in our private correspondence. I kinda felt "slapped in the face" or "stabbed in the back" when I saw what you'd written.

Still, I should have contacted you directly about it rather than post an immature 'comeback' in the same forum.

I totally understand you (or anybody) not liking my music. I was just taken aback by your public display of rejection.

Best,
Mark

As far as rejection goes that was pretty mild...

will wrote:It's hard for me to vote crap here, I really respect Mark Prindle as a dude and know he's just making the music he loves.

BTW: Mark, I really love your reviews and interviews. Great stuff. Keep up the good work. And Welcome... this is a pretty good place to hang.

as any of Mark's myspace friends will tell you, as far as a Prindle reaction goes, that was pretty mild.

he must have been 100% sober when he wrote it.

not crap

Surely you're not referring to the constant "EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD HATES MY ALBUM" bulletins I keep sending out?

That's just stating fact; no overreaction there!

Remember this one?

"Mark, I got my copy of Smilehouse about a week ago and I have to say I'm really disappointed. I love your record reviews and interviews so much, so I guess I was expecting a lot from your latest album. Well it is really bad. There is not even a part that is listenable. I listened to it for a long while, twice. I don't want to hear it again. So I would say, maybe stick to record reviews, or just put more time into your music. I think there is an idea or two but it sounds like sticking your finger in a blender to listen to."

Again, I wasn't upset at all that Will didn't LIKE Smilehouse. My wife doesn't even particularly care for it! I was just upset that he's always been real friendly to me over email, and then he went and bashed me behind my back on a public forum.
