I used one of the seymour duncan ones, I got it on sale so I don't know if they have different versions. I paid $25 for it.

It sounds nice to me it has the quality that I have liked in the Dan Electro's I have played.

One of my band mates has a old and a new dan electro guitar with lipsticks to my ears they sound the same and the new one has a bit higher output. My guitar sounded the same as his new dano.

Seymour Duncan might be makeing the pickups for the new dan electros as they sound the same to me, but I have no proof of that.

To the post above the lipsticks look very cool in black! I did not know about this site it is very good.

My favorite guitar is my USA Reverend Slingshot. It has three p90's and it's green. Great neck. All around cool guitar. They have a semi-hollow body with some kind of steel bar running through the body to promote sustain. Whatever. It sounds cool and feels great.

The older USA models are getting expensive on the old ebay thing. Probably not quite worth it at the moment. I have not tried the Korean Rev's yet. They are probably worth the investment.
In retrospect, I should have stepped off the stage and utter-kicked Mrs. O'Leary's cow.

hey, first post, but I've searched here for a while for tips and such. I bought one of the korean models last year when I was looking for a guitar w/ p90s, the jetstream. I really got addicted to what was supposed to be something extra since I always played les pauls. I ended up buying another p90 one as a back up. well worth the price, I believe.

I agree about the USAs too. I wanted to try and get one but the prices are getting ridiculous.
