I'm glad I stopped having to worry about underage drinking laws about 26 years ago.

It seems to me that a lot of these new laws are really an overreaction to the threat of underage drinking. Is it really that much worse now then when I was young? I think not. In fact, I'm sure it isn't, unless there are some actual statistics showing otherwise.

It seems like we periodically have to go through a phase of new puritanism in this country every so often for some reason.
