My dad took delight in telling this story:

He was in the Royal Navy. When he was posted on a ship, sailing mid-Atlantic or some other far-flung ocean, in the Spring, the clocks would be put forward at night (so they lost an hours sleep) and in the Autumn they would be put back during the day shift so they would get an extra hours work out of the crew.

Probably a myth, but if I ever get to run my own warship, that's how it will be.

Meh...it's my day off, so I don't get that extra hour of sleep. Days are even shorter now that they would be anyways.

Fuck the What Ever

I nearly messed myself last night when, after our third set, I looked at my phone and couldn't figure out why it was so early and what we could possibly pull out of our ass to fill another hour.
Thankfully, my more aware friends set me straight. I resumed my evening mess free.

The computers at work changed last weekend. This fucked all of the schedules for airtime.

And i had to answer for it.

Fuck you daylight savings crime!

It's a lame system, but I do enjoy the falll back part of it.
I stayed out late last night and it didn't matter. Got up at my usual time.

A Not Crap byproduct of a Crap system.
