I've had Exploded Drawing for a while but haven't really listened to it until recent. Then I had to get Cor-Crane Secret, then Today's Active Lifestyles, then Celebrate the New Dark Age...

These guys better West Coast tour.

I wasn't old enough to appreciate them in their prime. But the Lord has seen fit to give me a second chance.

Yeah, I'm going to 2nd Celebrate the New Dark Age, and add This Eclipse. these two EPs on merge are just excellent, and arguably polvo's high point.


although, for me, it's all about Shapes. This is not a popular answer, however.

I really, really like "El Rocio" on Shapes, too, but if you want the strongest argument about why to like them, get the EPs, and avoid Exploded Drawing, which a lot of people go nuts over, but which seems like their weakest to me.
