yeah, it's depressing, and probably an accurate preview of right-wing American politics circa 2020. I'm also not looking forward being blamed for the thousands of deranged Iraq war vets who are going to be dicked by the VA. the people with the 'support the troops' stickers on their Hummers today are guaranteed to be not doing shit for these people when they're bat-shit PTSD-crazy and living on the streets.

I sure hope you're wrong on that one. The hope that the whole Afghanistan/Iraq/Bush administration debacle will go down in elemenary school history books as another Vietnam or worse has been one of the only ways I've been able to get through this reign of terror we've been subjected to for the past seven years.
