1.Autoclave, they never released a full album but I think you can get a compilation from Dischord.
2.Breadwinner "The Burner" also collected pieces of vinyl (I haven't gotten Loincloth in the mail yet but I just know it's gonna be awesome).
3.Again Bill Dolan, 5ive Style (s/t) Heroic Doses

W.O.R.D. !
I got that record just about a few weeks ago, and the guitar work is great!
I recognize my main concern to start this thread was to collect some recommendations.
(I wonder if anyone has the guts to name a Shellac record...)
At Action Park is in my top ten list (maybe even my top five).

It's also being reissued in...13 days. With bonus tracks, as is Adventure. Check the Rhino site.
And in case you've never heard it, the 1978 Old Waldorf boot is amazing. It, too, is seeing a release this month (Rhino again), although I don't know if they've had access to a "master" any better than the one for the usual boot (cassette, recorded off FM, and it sounds like it was recorded slower than 1 7/8" ips). We'll see.
I'll second SKWM's Libertine, the Don Cab, and Zuma. And there are mighty moments on Joel Phelps's Blackbird, too.
