I switched out my Music Man 4x12 for a Fender 2x12 (which, with my HD 130, fits snugly in the trunk of my car) without any perceptible diminishment of my manhood.

next time we are in Madison you can load my gear... Heck I will even let you hassle the club owner for money, unless we play High Noon as I have never had to hassle there...

Loading out is the worst. Fighting around the drunk crowds, band members conveniently not around.
Anyone ever play Fitzgerald's, in Houston? The club is on the second floor and the stairway is outside of the building. A shitty, dilapidated wooden stairway with an unstable hand rail. It's perfect.
In my very first band, we played once at the radio station at Rollins College, in Orlando. After we played, our stupid drunk drummer dropped my twin reverb down the cement stairs leading to the station. I watched my amp bounce down the stairs, end over end, as the wood broke apart at the joints. I somehow put it back together later, but it was never the same.
Loading is crap!
