When I first started listening to Earth, I bought "2."
Listened to it a time or two, didn't really like it all that much at first. Went to go sell some records, that was included in the batch.
Saw it again in the used bin of the same store...bought it back.
Same thing happened. Thought that maybe the second time I'd "get it."
Sold it back.
Bought it back later on, and it has gotten much play since then.
Also, "Fall Heads Roll."

I bought it twice. I thought something was wrong with the damn record the first time. A few years later, i realized it was just right.

Dopesmoker by Sleep.
I couldn't dig the vocals for some reason. I thought they were stupid. Sold it when I was short of money a few years ago, and bought it again recently after getting into Om. So glad I did too.

Tortoise - Standards.
Bought it on vinyl, sold it when I was "poor" bought it on cd a few montsh ago. Still not 100% into it though.

I bought it when I was 17, listened to it and set it aside. I wasn't sure if I like it so I sold it. Flash two years later when my now wife and I moved in together. We were going through each other's collections and she had it in her stacks, I listened to it a few times and enjoy moments more than I did once upon a time but I still rarely go back to it. It's no much of a flip-flop but the best example I could think of.
