Where are you guys staying? If you only have an afternoon, you don't want to waste time traveling between boroughs.

Doors are at 7:00, but maybe with a little hustle, we can all get together for eats on Myrtle or Dekalb before the show? Good restaurants on both streets and a very short walk back to the venue afterwards.

We are staying in Brooklyn. We will find a place on expedia sometime this week. Everyone is trying their "New York connection", too. We definitely aren't going between boroughs. Maybe just across the bridge(right?) to Manhattan. But we won't have much time. What is going on in Brooklyn?

Well, as vockins will attest, a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge is something to be savored, even if it will be colder than a witch's tit.

Other than that, there's always something cooking at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, some good shopping and eating on Atlantic Ave or Smith Street, etc, etc.

Come to think of it, you may as well hop and skip over the bridge since you'll probably be in west Brooklyn anyway. I love Brooklyn, but there's no denying that there's far more daytime activity in Manhattan.

Heh. For lack of a better term. I just meant, they weren't going to be way the fuck out in Bay Ridge or something, which may as well be the moon if you only have an afternoon in NYC.

All the witches I know have warm toasty tits.

Here is the word on Mastodon:

A friend of mine who is going with us heard from a friend of his that Mastodon would be playing. He researched online and Brann Dailor (or someone who claims to be him) confirmed the rumor on a message board somewhere on the internet.

Good enough for me!

Don't spread that around.

Absolutely. A walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to see a Neurosis show at a Masonic Temple is some pretty triumphant shit. In fact, I think I will walk from Brooklyn to Manhattan over the Bridge and back to the Temple just to say I did it.

I'd probably fall asleep in the shitter and miss the entire show after that, but I could say I did it.

Thank you. Thank you so very much.

If I am right on the Mastodon bit-- It seems like I am.

I heard Earth is playing the show on the twenty-fourth with U.S. Christmas. So if that makes any difference to any of you New Yorkers...

Sorry for spilling the beans (if I am), bomberz. I just wouldn't want to be kicking myself over missing a band like Earth. Hopefully it won't reach too far outside of the forum. Maybe I have no idea what I am talking about. So there is always that possibility. It should be a championship time, regardless of who you play with.
